Job Title: Inventory Optimization Specialist
Job Description:
The role of the Inventory Optimization Specialist is pivotal in supporting the planning team by providing administrative and operational assistance. This encompasses leading the inventory allocation process, coordinating in-store product launches, managing stock levels, and ensuring accurate product information across channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support merchandising strategies to drive sales and margin by analyzing data trends, consumer behavior, and market conditions.
* Allocate products to stores and online platforms based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, demographics, and promotional activities.
* Monitor inventory performance, manage stock transfers, and optimize the flow of aged, end-of-line, and discontinued products.
* Collaborate with planners, merchandisers, retail teams, DC, and internal departments to execute allocation strategies and maintain inventory efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities:
Conduct regular store visits to assess merchandise presentation, gather performance feedback, work closely with visual merchandisers and the retail team to deliver assortment plans, set up documentation, and coordinate sample shipments.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in retail analytics tools and Microsoft Excel, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
