Job Description About the Role As an Operations and Recruitment Consultant, you will: Manage daily shift bookings and allocate staff to client needs Maintain strong communication with nurses, carers, and healthcare facilities Advertise, interview, and onboard new agency nurses and carers Support new recruits through their first months to build engagement and retention Keep accurate records, compliance checks, and system updates Assist in process improvements that ensure efficient workforce utilisation Professionally represent HCA with both clients and healthcare professionals What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone with a strong background in candidate management, ideally within agency nursing, recruitment, or healthcare operations. This is not a business development (BD) role — the focus is on supporting nurses and ensuring smooth shift coordination. Key Skills & Attributes: Experience in agency nursing, healthcare recruitment, or operations Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident using MS Office and rostering/booking systems Detail-oriented with a proactive and people-focused mindset Able to problem-solve, work well under pressure, and match the right staff to the right shifts Relationship-driven and motivated by supporting both clients and nursing teams You’ll thrive in the dynamic world of agency nursing operations, where your ability to coordinate, communicate, and care truly makes a difference.
