About the Role
This is a senior position suitable for a committed registrars with significant experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including those undertaking advanced training or preparing for specialist practice. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care across both obstetric and gynaecological services.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the delivery of inpatient and outpatient women’s health services.
* Providing supervision and mentorship to junior doctors and medical students.
* Participating in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and on-call rosters.
* Collaborating with midwives, allied health, and general practitioners to ensure continuity of care in a regional context.
About the Hospital & Department
The hospital is a key regional referral centre servicing a broad geographic area, offering a wide range of acute and sub-acute services. The O&G department provides 24/7 obstetric cover with a consultant-led model, supporting approximately 400 births annually. Facilities include a modern birthing suite, operating theatres, antenatal clinic, and emergency support services.

About You
* Current registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA.
* Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
* Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Commitment to working in a rural or regional health setting and contributing to community health outcomes.
