Job Title: Court Support Practitioner
Court Support Practitioners play a vital role in supporting clients through the court process.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or Social Science, and experience in crisis intervention, case management and referral pathways. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality services within the framework of Centacare Family and Relationship Services (CFRS) mission, values and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients to understand Court processes and provide support within the Court room.
* Conduct risk assessments and make appropriate referrals.
* Work closely with all Court stakeholders to ensure safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or Social Science from a recognised institution.
* Well-developed understanding of Domestic and Family Violence Act, Child Protection Act and Family Law Act.
* Ability to demonstrate a well-developed practice framework for domestic and family violence and child safety.
* Experience in intake, risk assessment, case management, crisis intervention and safety planning.
