We are currently seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our Managed Services delivery team supporting a large enterprise network environment based in Geelong. This role forms part of a dedicated engineering team responsible for maintaining network stability, resolving complex incidents and delivering ongoing network improvements across a multi-site environment. You will work closely with both NRI colleagues and client stakeholders to ensure critical network services remain reliable and responsive. What you'll be doing
• Provide operational support across enterprise network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex routing, switching and connectivity issues
• Support network upgrades, changes and improvements
• Maintain network documentation and standards
• Work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical incidents
Technical environment You'll work across enterprise Cisco networking technologies including:
• Cisco routing and switching
• Campus and data centre networking
• Network security platforms
• Network monitoring and management tools
Experience with technologies such as Cisco Nexus, ACI, Catalyst Centre or software-defined networking will be advantageous.
What we're looking for
• Strong experience supporting enterprise Cisco networks
• Advanced troubleshooting across routing and switching
• Experience working in large or managed service environments
• Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP or OSPF
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Additional requirements
• Ability to work onsite in Geelong as part of a hybrid arrangement
• Participation in an on-call support rotation
• Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
