About the role This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to kick-start their career as a Legal Administration Assistant with a highly regarded family law firm. In this role, you’ll provide administrative support to a team of Solicitors and Paralegals, assist with Reception duties, and benefit from ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development in a supportive team environment. Duties Some of your duties will include, but not limited to; opening new files editing & amending legal documents mail collection and distribution monthly preparation of client bills attending to photocopying, scanning and sorting documents and correspondence for the team answer overflow telephone calls for the team liaison with clients and other parties archiving and closing of files relief reception (up to 3 days a week) other general administrative duties as required to assist the team Skills & experience Ideally you will have: 6 to 12 months' previous experience working in an office environment Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Completion of a Certificate in Legal Business Administration or similar qualification (highly regarded) Friendly and flexible team attitude Genuine willingness to learn and grow within the role About our client Our client is a reputable and thriving Family law firm based in Melbourne’s inner eastern suburbs.
