Financial Leadership Opportunity
The role of Financial Director is a critical position within an organization, responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to drive business growth and success. This leader will oversee all aspects of finance, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
This individual will have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial management, accounting, and financial analysis. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, employees, and external stakeholders.
About You
* You are a seasoned finance professional with experience in financial transformation, holding accreditation with CAANZ, CPA, or IPA, or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
* You will provide effective financial leadership and support the mentoring of the Finance team, fostering a commitment to continuous improvement.
* You will be responsible for financial and compliance reporting to the Board and sub-committees while working towards an integrated model with shared systems and processes.
Key Requirements
* Accreditation with a relevant body, including CAANZ, CPA, or IPA, or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
* Financial management experience in not-for-profit, public, or private sectors, with knowledge of cost accounting, payroll, financial analysis, and budgeting.
* Ability to operate strategically, problem-solve, support, and understand challenges at the operational level.
* Experience integrating financial management information systems and taking a continuous improvement approach.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills, leadership, and ability to manage teams, lead, coach, motivate staff, influence others, and resolve conflict.
