About the role
Flowers by Leaf is growing rapidly and we are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled florist to join our team at The Leaf Store in Armadale. We are looking for full time or part time team members, offering consistency, regular hours and the opportunity to be a part of our exciting expansion in a fast growing business that excells.
What you'll be doing
* Working under the direction of the Head Florist
* Receival and conditioning of market flowers and plants
* Regular water changes and daily quality control
* Daily maintenance of cut flower and plant displays
* Customer service, both in store and via email or phone
* Producing and creating beautiful flower arrangement in line with Leaf's sandards and taking instruction from the Head Florist
* Taking and fulfilling customer orders through a variety of platforms
* Keeping our display spaces and work areas clean and organised
* Daily maintenance of cool rooms and storage spaces
* Maintaining ancillary and sundry stock levels
* Daily set up and/or pack down of flower displays
What we're looking for:
* Demostrated experince as a professional florist (you must have experience to apply for this role).
* Exceptional customer service
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of cut flowers and plants
* High attention to detail
* Excellent time management and efficiency - this is a fast paced role in a busy environment and you need to work at pace.
* A willingness to take direction and work as part of the Leaf team
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work within a team and on their own
* A willingness to assist in all aspects of the department, as well as the business as a whole
* Flexibility to work a range of days and times, including evenings and weekends
