We are seeking experienced Senior Systems Engineers to support several complex, high-assurance engineering programs within secure government environments. These roles will see you working closely with stakeholders across engineering, program delivery, and operational areas to support system definition, integration, and certification activities across the subsea, joint and land domains.
About the Role
Lead and support requirements engineering activities, including development and maintenance of system specifications.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain requirements traceability within a structured database environment
* Contribute to system design and architecture development, including trade studies and design analysis
* Support verification and validation (V&V) activities, including development of test procedures and reports
* Assist in the preparation and maintenance of engineering artefacts and documentation to support program milestones
* Contribute to change management processes, including engineering change documentation and implementation
* Participate in technical working groups and stakeholder engagements
* Support system certification activities, including evidence generation and review
* Prepare and present technical inputs for design and system reviews
Qualifications
* Degree-qualified in Engineering
Required Skills
* Demonstrated experience in systems engineering across the full lifecycle
* Strong experience with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS or similar)
* Experience in system integration, V&V, and technical documentation
* Ability to work within structured engineering governance frameworks
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Preferred Skills
* Experience working within secure or regulated environments
* Familiarity with government or defence-style engineering processes
* Exposure to complex, multi-system integration programs
* Experience supporting certification or assurance activities
