About the Role
As Local Area Marketing (LAM) Manager, you'll lead how Yo-Chi shows up in local communities across the country. You'll translate national brand and commercial priorities into simple, scalable programs that venues can execute brilliantly, from community initiatives and local events to in-venue presence and out of home placements. In the early phase, you'll be hands on, especially across Victoria. Building, testing, and refining initiatives before scaling them nationally. You'll work closely with the Brand Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing, Brand Director and Operations teams to ensure everything lands well in real life, not just on paper.
Responsibilities
* Own and evolve Yo-Chi's national Local Area Marketing and community strategy
* Translate brand and commercial priorities into simple, repeatable programs for venues
* Define and scale what great local presence looks like across regions
* Lead and grow key community initiatives
* Drive Yo-Chi's presence at local events, festivals, school activations and grassroots moments
* Build and manage a national to local events calendar
* Personally lead LAM and community activity across Victoria and priority venues in the early phase
* Support Venue General Managers and State Operations Manager to deliver strong local execution
* Pilot new initiatives (walk clubs, charity partnerships, local collaborations, opening events)
* Build playbooks, checklists and execution standards based on real-world learning
* Own Yo-Chi's out-of-home (OOH) strategy and placement decisions with direction from the Brand Director
* Manage media partners and suppliers, including negotiating sites and value add opportunities
* Partner with the Brand Marketing Manager to bring national campaigns to life locally
* Ensure venues are ready for campaign rollouts across OOH, delivery, and in-venue execution
* Ensure consistent, high-quality execution across signage, displays, digital screens and activations
* Oversee localisation of digital content at venue level within brand guardrails
* Define success metrics, track performance, and continuously improve programs
* Maintain a strong feedback loop with Marketing, Operations and leadership teams
Qualifications
* Has 4-6+ years' experience in marketing, community, or local area marketing roles
* Is proactive, hands-on, and thrives in building from the ground up
* Has strong commercial awareness and understands how local activity drives sales
* Has excellent stakeholder management skills and can influence across teams
* Is organised and able to turn strategy into clear, executable plans
* Has strong brand instinct and attention to detail
* Loves being in venues and close to execution
* Thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
