Trinity Retail Pty Ltd (hereafter referred to as “Trinity Retail”) is a rapidly growing supermarket which has a vacancy for a highly competent and experienced Retail Manager. A full-time position for a Retail Manager is available for an immediate start. In this position, the candidate will undertake the following duties and responsibilities: Determine and maintain optimal product mix Monitor stock levels, coordinate purchasing and manage supplier relationships to ensure product availability Preparing and managing the store's operational budget, suggesting cost control measures for maximising overall store profitability. Co-ordinate stock control activities, including ordering, inventory rotation, stock level optimisation, and minimising wastage and shrinkage Implement promotions and merchandising standards Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service improvement initiatives Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and development Foster a positive, high-performance team culture Prepare for and successfully pass 6-monthly council inspections by resolving any issues promptly Oversee fire safety inspections every six months and address any Occupational Health & Safety concerns without delay Implement procedures for customer service, cash handling, safety, and store presentation Analyse sales performance and suggest strategies to meet business targets Develop and execute pricing, and marketing strategies that support sales growth Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory, sales performance, and financial transactions The successful candidate should have a minimum of an Advanced Diploma in either Business or Management, and preferably a Bachelor of Commerce with financial literacy. The candidate should also have at least 1 year of full-time work experience as a retail manager with a supermarket in Australia. The salary for this position is $86,000.00 plus superannuation. The candidate should be self-motivated, be able to work well under pressure, and a team- player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail is important in the role. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and is a self- starter.
