Occupational Therapist Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in diverse roles, including in-clinic therapy, joint therapy sessions with speech pathologists, small groups and capacity-building support in educational settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing therapy for children in areas such as sensory processing, regulation, self-care skills, toileting and motor skills.
* Conducting in-clinic therapy with resources and a shared resource room.
* Collaborating with speech therapists for joint therapy sessions.
* Completing documentation in a timely manner (notes, reports, letters, NDIS documentation).
* Managing a caseload with flexibility to work from home during school holidays.
* Participating in regular team meetings and professional development sessions.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor or Masters Degree)
* Membership of the Occupational Therapy Association
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current NDIS Worker Check
* Current driver's license
* Current First Aid Certification
* Ability to work collaboratively with team members
* A commitment to self-leadership and continuous learning
