The Corporate Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s financial reporting, compliance, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role ensures accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, adherence to accounting standards, and contributes to process improvements within the finance function. This will encompass both Australian entities and overseas entities. Post journal entries and maintain accurate ledger balances. Assist with month-end reconciliations (bank, intercompany, accruals, prepayments). Support preparation of monthly management reports. Assist with tax obligations (BAS, GST, FBT) and other statutory reporting requirements. Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies. Maintain internal controls and support risk management initiatives. Support external audit preparation and respond to auditor queries. Drive efficiency in financial processes and reporting systems. Implement best practices and automation where possible. Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems. Provide ad hoc support to the CFO, Financial Controller and wider Finance team. Participate in process improvement initiatives. What you’ll bring? Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a CPA or CA qualification (or working towards). Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations. 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role - experience with overseas entities in a corporate environment would be an advantage. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Pronto, SAP, MYOB, Xero). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Effective communication and stakeholder management. Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. What else do you need to apply?
