A Day in the Life:
To provide high quality patient care of Monash Health paediatric patients with allergic or immunologic conditions by direct care of outpatients (primarily) and inpatients, as well as providing support to other Monash Health departments in the care of their patients.
To contribute to Monash Health policies and procedures to minimise the impact of allergic and immunologic conditions upon children being cared for by Monash Health. To provide teaching, training, public communication and contribute to research in Allergy and Immunology.
This is a EFT fixed term position for up to 12 months.
As this is a part-time parental leave back-fill position, the preferable clinical workday is Fridays to align with Outpatient clinics and Challenge sessions.
What you need:
1. MBBS or equivalent
2. FRACP or recognised by RACP as specialist in allergy and immunology
3. Current (or eligible for) registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Paediatric allergy and immunology
4. Registration with AHPRA

5. Participate and co-operate in consultative processes to improve health and safety.
6. Observe safe working practices and as far as you are able, protect your own and others’ health and safety.
7. Manage employee through effective recruitment, retention recognition and development strategies, ensure there are effective consultation and communication processes in place.
8. Monitor the operations and continuous improvement of the Monash Health Occupational Health and Safety Management System within the area of responsibility and provide a safe and positive workplace
9. Provide leadership and support for direct reports, appraise their performance, ensure employee complete required training and are provided with professional training and development opportunities.
10. Complete all necessary personal training and professional development requirements.
