As our Mechanical Engineering Technician working in our Engineering and Client Services team, you will work in our open‑floor office among a team of hardworking and friendly professionals.
Responsibilities
Aside from learning about conveyor belt maintenance and scrapers, you will assist engineers with the design, manufacture, installation, operation and maintenance of machinery and other mechanical equipment. You will draw up designs for new machinery, assemble and install new or altered mechanical equipment and parts and carry out workshop and field testing as part of the quality control process. Additionally, you will prepare client quotations, tender submissions and reports, and provide sales and technical support to our clients.
Qualifications & Skills
* Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechanical) or a Diploma in Engineering
* Hands‑on practical mechanical experience
* Able to work in a team and autonomously
* High attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Great Customer Service skills and proven experience in developing and maintaining excellent internal and external relationships
* "Can do" attitude with a professional approach to work
* Ability to manage time and a willingness to take ownership of projects
* Strong computer literacy and experience with MS office suits.
* Valid WA Driver's License Class 'C'
