Salary: $38.76 - $43.66 per hour including Tax and Super.
Job Description:
The family is seeking a compassionate, proactive, and creative In Home Care Educator to support the early learning and development of their two young children aged 3 years and 19 months. The position involves providing structured and play-based learning opportunities in the family home, with a focus on age-appropriate developmental milestones, sensory activities, and inclusive care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate programs to support developmental milestones.
* Facilitate daily educational activities including sensory play, arts and crafts, painting, and imaginative play.
* Adapt activities to support individual learning needs, particularly for the 3-year-old with additional needs.
* Work collaboratively with the parent/caregiver, who will provide guidance on existing routines and activities.
* Maintain a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment in the home.
* Provide regular feedback on the children's progress and engagement.
Desirable Attributes and Experience:
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or similar.
* Experience in early childhood settings, preferably with In Home Care or similar.
* Understanding or experience working with neurodivergent children (e.g., autism spectrum, sensory processing differences).
* Creative, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.
* Knowledge of the EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework) is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
* A car and driver's licence.
* Full working rights in Australia.
* Commitment for at least 12 months.
