About the role
A general practitioner with obstetrics skills is required to join our expanding Maternity Team at Western District Health Service.
The successful person would work alongside other GP Obstetricians at the Hamilton Medical Group and practice obstetrics for Western District Health Service at Hamilton Hospital.
Key responsibilities
- Care for women across the continuum of care, including antenatal clinic, antenatal admissions, labour/birth care, postnatal care and up to six weeks postnatal.
- Women11s Health: preconception care, early pregnancy care, contraception, cervical screening, STD management, menopause etc.

You will bring
- AHPRA registration
- Professional Indemnity cover
- Vocational Registration in Australia (RACGP/ACRRM)
- GP Obstetrician with procedural obstetric skills desirable
