Equipment assembly of electrical and mechanical systems
- Hands-on role: develop, assemble and commission new test systems
- Support and service of testing systems
This is aa chance to work with an experienced engineering team, setting up the manufacturing and test systems as our client moves from prototype to full scale production. You will be working with a range of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
The primary role is to assemble mechanical and electrical systems, using hand and power tools, assist with procurement of parts, and to support the manufacturing test systems. This may include executing and documenting the tests, to ensure reproducibility, and assisting the team with fault finding and failure analysis, when issues occur.
- Able to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Practical experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, including soldering skills
- Experience with machining or CNC is highly regarded
- Able to work with supply chain and OEM vendors to procure essential parts
- Understanding of workplace safety
