An exciting part time opportunity is now available for an Administration Officer to join our Hospital in the Home/Outreach team. In this role, you will provide warm, efficient and professional frontline customer service to patients and clients attending our clinics, while delivering essential clerical support to the clinical teams within the service. You will play an important part in ensuring the smooth daily workflow of the clinics and supporting high‑quality service delivery.
You will represent the department with professionalism in both presentation and attitude, and communicate regularly with the Nurse Unit Manager and the multidisciplinary team to support effective and efficient service delivery. The successful candidate will be working Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 08:00 to 16:30. What You Will Bring To The Role
* Demonstrated experience in a clinic setting including reception duties, phone enquiries, appointment scheduling and data entry
* Demonstrated or willingness to learn to work with iPM for inpatient and outpatients
* Demonstrated effective customer service skills.
* Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and effective communication skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of Medicare eligibility and billing practices
* Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated ability to learn new processes
* Ability to be flexible and display initiative.
