THE ROLE This role contributes to supporting important initiatives related to forecasting demand for children and families services and strategic investment in the sector to reduce demand and improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families. This role requires an understanding of economics with the ability to apply this to social policy. The role will support key projects and policy development. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE * Undertake projects and initiatives led by the Strategic Investment team, and other priority projects in the Reform, Investment and Design branch within the Children and Families division. * Preparation presentations, briefs, correspondence and reports on a range of priority project related matters. * Undertake policy research, economic analysis and provide advice for departmental executives and Ministers.
