Job Title: Disability Support Worker
We are seeking a passionate and open-minded individual to join our team as a Community Mentor and Personal Care Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is genuine in their passion for supporting people with disabilities and committed to empowering our clients through their NDIS journey.
The successful candidate will provide personal care and assistance in home and community settings, ensuring the highest quality of life for our clients. Our flexible working model prioritizes work-life balance, and we offer individual training for new team members to ensure a seamless integration into our client's journey.
Main Responsibilities:
* Providing personal care and assistance in home and community settings
* Morning and evening routines
* Meal preparation and dinner assistance
* Attending appointments
* Community access
* Light domestic duties
* Case notes (at completion of a shift)
Requirements:
* Current CPR and First Aid certification
* Working with Children Check - Employee
* NDIS Worker Screener Check including police check
* Full Driver's license and vehicle
* Exceptional oral communication skills
* Availability to work more than 3 full days a week (20+ hours)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Casual respite availability an advantage
* Experience with support work and PCA
