The Opportunity PWR is growing at a rapid pace and we're expanding our team! We're looking for highly experienced 3 and 5 AXIS Machinists (or 3 + 2) for the manufacturing of CNC machined parts.
In addition to this, we're also on the lookout for experienced Offline Programmers. Dual experience in both machine operation and machine programming would be highly considered.
We are additionally seeking highly experienced CNC operators who can provide supervision and leadership within the team.
Experienced machinists with a high level of 3 and 5 AXIS Milling experience, ideally in a high-speed machining environment with direct experience in aluminum surface and feature machining of complex components for the Aerospace or Motorsport industry, are encouraged to apply. The role includes verification of setup sheets and the proving out of new programs in a First Off situation.
The PWR facility operates both Day and Afternoon shifts.
Your Skills and Experience Experience using Mazak Variaxis and HAAS CNC Milling Machines would be highly regarded. Horizontal machining experience advantageous. Industry qualified in an Engineering discipline or possessing a similar level qualification. Good understanding of tooling selection and procedures. Ability to verify and ensure the accuracy of components, record results, and report any issues. Willingness to assist and support colleagues in other production-specific tasks when needed. Time-served machinist or equivalent recognised apprenticeship/experience. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and conditions of supply.
