Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care in accordance with care plans and clinical standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care, monitoring changes in health and wellbeing
- Administer medications safely and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate and supervise care staff, providing guidance and support for best practice
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with aged care regulations, quality standards, and infection control
- Support residents with dignity during end-of-life care
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes
- Participate in resident care reviews, handovers, and case conferences
- Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Key Requirements / Skills:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (required)
- 1+ years of aged care RN experience in Australia (required)
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team focus
- Knowledge of aged care standards, medication administration, and infection control
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and respectful of resident dignity
