Your role in the team
Reporting to the Regional Maintenance & Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for various preventative, scheduled, and reactive maintenance requests to maintain and service UCH property.
Key Responsibilities
1. Undertake routine preventative or scheduled maintenance promptly and to a high standard.
2. Ensure all plant, fittings, and equipment meet regulatory compliance standards.
3. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner with work undertaken to a high standard.
4. Document and log all work activity in the asset management system.
5. Apply UCH policies and procedures relevant to the role.
6. Follow and promote safety standards, including workplace health and safety legislation.
7. Conduct comprehensive audits and maintenance checklists, recording inspections as required.
Requirements
* Experience in a similar role with skills in basic carpentry, plumbing, and/or motor maintenance.
* Trade Certificate in at least one of the following: Licenced Plumber, Mechanic, Electrician, or Carpenter.
* Current Driver's Licence.
* Knowledge of infection control guidelines, Workplace Health and Safety Regulations, and Hospital Policies.
* Attention to detail.
