Role Overview

The People and Culture Business Partner works closely with leaders to provide strategic and operational HR support across the organisation. This includes advising on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and workforce planning. The role also contributes to HR initiatives, policy development, and process improvements that support a positive workplace culture, compliance, and leadership capability. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide timely, practical guidance to ensure consistent, fair, and solutions-focused people management practices.

You are an experienced HR professional with strong advisory and operational expertise. Confident in employee relations and performance management, you proactively support leaders with practical, solutions-driven guidance. Collaborative and relationship-oriented, you thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to fairness, compliance, and creating a positive, high-performing workplace.

Key Responsibilities

· Partner with leaders to deliver tailored HR strategies aligned to business needs

· Advise on employee relations, performance, conduct, and conflict resolution

· Support managers with coaching, capability building, and decision-making

· Assist with workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives

· Contribute to HR projects, reporting, and policy development to improve operations

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

· Proven HR experience in business partnering or advisory roles

· Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws, HR policies, and best practices

· Experience in employee relations, performance management, and coaching leaders

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills

· Analytical, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively

· Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Industrial Relations or related field (desirable)
