Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.Summary:The onsite Laboratory Partnership Manager (LPM) is responsible for managing and enhancing LabConnect’s regional laboratory partnership to ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence, and clinical testing integrity. Leveraging strong scientific, technical, and operational expertise, the LPM drives laboratory partner engagement, performance management, and technical oversight to support high-quality clinical trial testing.Responsibilities:• Serve as the primary strategic and technical liaison between LabConnect and partner laboratories.• Build and maintain strong, collaborative laboratory relationships to drive mutual growth and operational efficiency.• Manage partner laboratory engagement, compliance, and performance accountability, including identifying areas for continuous improvement.• Conduct governance meetings with partner laboratories to assess compliance, KPIs, service delivery, and harmonization initiatives.• Maintain vendor information and documentation databases to ensure transparency and audit readiness.• Serve as a primary point of contact for a regional laboratory partner and internal stakeholders.• Provide technical oversight to support clinical testing standardization, particularly in clinical chemistry and hematology.• Work closely with Scientific Services, Client Services, Data Management, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Finance, and Quality Assurance to support efficient vendor onboarding and management.• Support escalation pathways for technical issues or client concerns and provide scientifically sound resolutions.• Collaborate on initiatives related to LIMS integration, critical reporting standardization, and future-state automation needs.• Introduce and manage dry run testing with partner labs, using test samples prior to the first clinical samples to pressure-test workflows and ensure readiness.• Actively contribute to the evolution of LabConnect’s vendor governance model and clinical data standardization processes.Education and Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related health field discipline required; advanced degree preferred.• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) Certification preferred .• 7+ years of relevant industry experience in central laboratories, clinical research, or clinical trial support, including at least 3+ years of bench-level technical experience.• Proven experience in laboratory vendor management, client-facing roles, and clinical testing oversight.Required Skills:• Strong scientific and technical understanding of laboratory testing methodologies, instrumentation, and IQ/OQ/PQ processes.• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make clear, strategic recommendations.• Experience with regional area regulatory requirements (CLIA, CAP, NY State, IVDR) Knowledge of CLSI guidelines and global laboratory operational standards.• Excellent organizational, project management, and multi-tasking abilities, with a strong sense of urgency to meet timelines.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional and external collaboration.• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.Read more below and get ready for your next great employment adventure!Some of the Perks our LabConnectors Love:We truly live our values: People First, Quality Focused, Customer Centered, Technology Driven and Accountability Always.The ability to make an impact on a passionate and growing teamGreat communication on a smaller sized teamA market based salaryTools to effectively do your job (laptop, phone reimbursement)In addition to great perks and challenging work assignments, we invest in our people with enriching career growth opportunities.
