We are one of the largest window and door manufacturers in Australia and we need new staff to expand.**About the Job**
Due to continued expansion, we're seeking a motivated Window Service Technician based at our Ormeau branch for site servicing and glazing of our products at various locations throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.
**Duties will include**:
- Servicing windows and doors;
- Determining the type of glass required for each job;
- Determining the dimensions of the glass, including measuring the glass and marking it for cutting;
- Examining glass to determine that there are no defects on the product;
- Cutting and removing old broken glass before installing replacement glass;
- Installation of cut glass into windows and glazed doors, including ensuring a smooth finish to the final product;
- Installation of flyscreens;
- Cutting and removing old broken glass before installing replacement glass;
- Using various tools for glass cutting and installation, including glass cutters, pliers etc.**About You**
We are looking for applicants who possess strong skills in the following areas:
- Glazing certificate and/or at least 2 years past experience in a similar role.
- Time management.
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Initiative.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Proof of completion of an accredited WorkSafe training course.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
