You will lead a dedicated outpatient administration team and work closely with clinical leaders, nursing staff and corporate services to ensure smooth, efficient and responsive clinic operations. Key highlights include:

What you'll be doing
As the Outpatients Administration Manager, you will provide leadership and operational oversight of administrative services supporting outpatient clinics, ensuring compliance, efficiency and high-quality patient experiences.
You will:
* Lead, manage and develop a multidisciplinary administrative team across reception, bookings, telephony and clinic coordination
* Oversee outpatient administrative processes including scheduling, patient registration, Medicare billing, data integrity and activity reporting
* Monitor performance, patient flow and KPIs, identifying risks, service gaps and improvement opportunities
* Manage resources, budgets and staffing to deliver cost-effective and timely services
* Drive service improvement initiatives, digital health integration and operational change aligned with NSW Health and WSLHD priorities

Selection Criteria: 1. Demonstrated experience in managing large administrative teams within a healthcare or similar high-volume, customer-focused operational environment, including staff recruitment, rostering, performance management and service delivery oversight. 2. Proven ability to plan, lead and implement operational systems, procedures and service improvement initiatives in an outpatient or clinical administration environment, aligned to policy, legislative and funding requirements. 3. High-level interpersonal, negotiation and written communication skills, with the capacity to develop effective working relationships and influence outcomes with diverse stakeholders across clinical and corporate services. 4. Sound knowledge of outpatient service workflows, patient administration systems, Medicare billing, and non-admitted activity reporting frameworks within the NSW public health system or equivalent. 5. Demonstrated skills in workload management, data analysis, performance reporting, and financial oversight within operational services, with an ability to make informed decisions in complex operational environments. 6. Experience in policy and procedure development, change management, and leading operational projects within a healthcare setting. 7. Knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) principles and commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
