Role
This is a permanent full-time position as a Retail Manager. The role involves the safe, effective, and efficient operation of the restaurant, focusing on Quality, Service, and Cleanliness to guests. You will lead a team to deliver robust business results within the company’s cultural pillars: Growth Mindset, People Power, 100% Guest Obsessed, Stronger Together, Make a Difference.
Salary Range: $77,500 – $100,000 + 20–25% bonus + potential profit share
Responsibilities
- Provide Safety Leadership: manage day-to-day operations with safe work practices compliant with local legislation and Hungry Jack’s standards; ensure safety and security procedures are enforced.
- Creating a Guest Obsessed Culture: hire, train and supervise the team to deliver exceptional guest service; evaluate performance, handle promotions and disciplinary matters, and resolve grievances; ensure prompt service and quality food; execute the National Marketing Plan on shifts for consistent guest experience; respond to guest inquiries and feedback with appropriate corrective actions or escalation; own National incentive programs to improve the guest experience.
- Building the Brand (Business Planning): use the Business Priority Plan to continually improve restaurant performance; review results and communicate actions to the team; participate in community engagement initiatives to build brand loyalty.
- Leading a High Performing Team: build a culture of growth, trust and accountability; ensure effective shift coverage with productive staff; develop and maintain a succession plan; partner with Training Coach to execute the Restaurant Training Plan.
- Managing the Business (Profit and Controllables): project sales to support rostering and ordering; plan and assign work schedules; manage controllables to achieve profit goals; conduct regular stock takes and maintain stock records; order inventory as required for sales projections.
Required Skills / Experience
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma, or at least three years of relevant experience.
- National Police check required for all successful applicants; criminal records are considered on merit.
