**About the business**
**The technical sales role predominately consists of**:
- specialise in the sales and promotion of technological products and services within the plastics sector.
- develop and execute strategies to identify and cultivate prospective customers.
- generate leads and compile a database of contacts.
- Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products.
- Explaining complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.
- Preparing detail costings, quotations, and presentation of the proposed solution.
- Following up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Keeping customers informed about new technological products.
- Compiling proposals and reports related to technical products.
- Ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.
- Reporting to management about sales made.
- Updating records of customer communications and contact information.
- **Skills/Experience**:
- A Minimum Bachelor level relevant qualification or in the alternative at least 5 years of relevant sales or marketing experience within the plastics sector.
- **Specific knowledge of**:
- **Injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion**:
- **Gravimetric blender and blending systems**:
- **Gravimetric dosing and dosing systems**:
- **Central vacuum conveying and systems**:
- **Central desiccant and vacuum drying systems**:
- **System design and integration of an ancillary equipment from silo to machine inlet**:
- **Mould temperature controllers and chilled water systems**:
- Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of how the company products work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to identify and follow up on leads.
- Exceptional skills in selling products and closing deals.
- Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
- Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in technical sales of ancillary products within plastics sector essential
- Experience with ServiceM8, Word, Excel, MSD365 ERP, CRM, Field Service programs an advantage.
- A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel extensively.
- A high attention to detail an work ethic.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
Schedule:
