Global Sales Director - Expansion Phase

We are seeking a talented sales professional to spearhead our international expansion efforts. As the Global Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through existing partnerships and sourcing new business opportunities in line with our sales forecast.

The role requires developing local and international long-term relationships with retailers, covering different continents and time zones. This includes working outside standard hours to accommodate US, European, and other global partners.

To achieve this goal, we need a candidate who can develop strategies for growth in international markets, build our brand presence in new territories, and source new partners where we are not represented.

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication between our international retailers to evaluate and enhance performance. This includes upholding the principles of responsible selling.

Additionally, you will manage sales contracts and order forms in line with company guidelines – payment terms, deliveries, etc. Market conditions globally, including competitors, must be monitored regularly.

Travel internationally multiple times a year is required to visit retail partners and conduct trade shows. You will also be expected to maintain our CRM database diligently.


Key Performance Indicators

* Achieve sales in line with our growth strategy.
* Manage long-term retailers and source new retailers in new territories with responsible selling practices to ensure Year-on-Year sustainable growth.
* 5+ years' experience in a similar role with international sales results, preferably working with major retailers like Aldi, Costco, Kmart, etc.
* Demonstrated sales experience with major retailers.
* A strong, driven attitude, results-focused and responsive to goals and objectives.
* Professional and effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand and interpret sell-through and sell-in data as well as terms and agreements.
* Collaborative mindset who will contribute to the success of the team and the business.
* Ability to travel internationally.
* Ability to work within various time zones when applicable.
* Strong grasp of Office 365 programs with intermediate Excel.
* The successful applicant will have a proven track record in a similar sales role, great attention to detail, and a great attitude, a true team player with a love of summer.
