First Step Support Services is looking to expand, and we are looking for a very specific person to fill the role available
**You will perform the following duties as required**:
- Assist NDIS Participants to identify strategies to work towards their goals as listed in their NDIS plan, working from a
person centred, trauma informed & neuroaffirming framework
- Work collaboratively with participants to encourage choice and control, and respect participants rights to dignity, privacy,
independence and respect.
- Support participants to implement their NDIS plan, to source appropriate providers for participants, and assist with
referrals, service agreement, and service implementation.
- Work collaboratively with other service providers within the context of care teams.
- Operate within relevant legislation, NDIS policies and procedures, and guidelines.
- Maintain timely and accurate case notes.
- Maintain participant files & profiles
We may also assign you other duties, where reasonable for your position, training and experience.
**You would also need**:
- At least 12 months experience working as a Support Coordinator**
- Certificate IV or above in Mental Health, Early Childhood, Disability, or related field
- WWCC
- Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR
- COVID Vaccination
- Current valid drivers license & insurance
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week
