We are seeking skilled professionals to provide technical support for ADF satellite communication systems. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for the operational maintenance of SATCOM terminals and rack-based RF / communications equipment based at HMAS Harman.
Job Summary

We have flexibility to appoint recently qualified technicians and provide complete equipment training or appoint senior technicians who can work independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Provision of specialist on and off-site maintenance services to SATCOM SPO assets
* Configuration Management support to selected mission systems
* Warehouse and supply support activities for Breakdown Spares, Repairable Items and Support and Test Equipment
* Compliance with governance and ITAR obligations
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Trade Certificate III or IV in Communications or Electronic Engineering
* Senior technician will have at least three years relevant experience post-qualification
* Knowledge of and experience with terrestrial or Satellite Communications Systems
* Proficient in Microsoft office tools, especially Excel
