An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Project Coordinators – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) to support electrical and instrumentation construction activities on a large-scale mining/infrastructure project.
These roles will work closely with site leadership and the broader E&I team to coordinate contractors, manage site activities, and ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate day-to-day electrical and instrumentation construction activities on site
* Supervise and support multiple E&I contractors across various work fronts
* Ensure strict compliance with permit-to-work systems and isolation requirements
* Monitor and manage QA/QC compliance in line with technical standards
* Support construction sequencing, planning, and execution activities
* Interface closely with site supervision, engineers, and construction teams
* Identify and resolve site issues impacting safety, quality, or schedule
* Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Solid experience working on large-scale mining or infrastructure projects
* Background in an EPCM or contractor environment (preferred), or an owner's team environment
* Strong experience with permit-to-work systems, QA/QC processes, and contractor management
* Sound understanding of construction processes and E&I technical standards
* Proven ability to coordinate multiple contractor work fronts simultaneously
* Demonstrated hands‑on experience with:
o HV/LV systems
o Switchgear
o Motor Control Centres (MCCs)
o Instrumentation systems
Role Details
* Roster: 2 weeks on / 1 week off
* Hours: 11.5-hour paid days
* Travel: Flexible FIFO options (fly in Monday or Friday)
* Duration: Long-term opportunity (12+ months)
* Rate: Competitive hourly rate
