We are looking to fill Field Worker and Supervisor roles on bushland management teams located on the Central Coast, Hunter and Newcastle areas, with possible travel up to 1 hour and opportunities to visit remote sites on occasion.
Our employees are paid under the Gardening and Landscaping Services Award.
Field Workers
This role provides essential experience to move into supervising or ecology fields.
The successful applicant will have bush regen experience and be willing and capable of physical work each day.
To be considered for a field worker position you must possess the following Essential / Highly Desirable Criteria :
Chemical Applicator's AQF3.
Certificate in Conservation and Land Management (please note this is preferred over degree qualifications due to the practical nature of this training).
Current drivers' licence.
WHS White Card.
Experience as a bush regenerator with knowledge of regen methods and weed identification.
Supervisors
Our supervisors lead a team of 2 - 6 people each day, and are provided with a 4wd work ute for travel to and from the job from their home.
They are responsible for carrying out scope of works, team safety on site, quality control, and accurate daily reporting.
To be considered for a Supervisor position you must possess the following Essential / Highly Desirable Criteria :
Chemical Applicator's AQF3.
White Card.
Certificate in Conservation and Land Management.
Current unrestricted drivers' licence.
Experience supervising bush regen teams.
Minimum 2 years' experience in bush regen.
Desirable Criteria
Located on the Central Coast.
Chainsaw ticket.
4WD experience.
AQF4 Chemical Accreditation.
First Aid Certification.
