We are currently seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to join our team with work commencing May 2026 on a 6 month contract, with the potential for ongoing opportunities for the right candidate.
This role operates on an 8/6 and 7/7 FIFO roster and offers the chance to work within a supportive team in a dynamic mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct preventative and general maintenance (PMs) on fixed plant equipment
* Perform breakdown repairs and troubleshooting in collaboration with other trades
* Maintain and service Warman and Sulzer pumps
* Assist with the maintenance and operation of Jord filter belts
* Ensure site safety procedures and operational standards are followed at all times
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience maintaining Warman and Sulzer pumps
* Previous exposure to Jord filter belts
* Strong background in preventative maintenance
* Experience responding to breakdowns in fixed plant environments
* Current WA driver's licence
