Manning Support Services (MSS) is an award-winning community service organisation that has been operating on the NSW Mid North Coast for more than 40 years. MSS has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer – Quality, Compliance and Risk (QCR) located in our Taree office. The position is part-time, offering 21 hours per week. This is a 6-month parental leave cover with the possibility of being extended.
The Administration Officer QCR provides administrative support to the QCR team as well as administering QCR systems that support Manning Support Services (MSS).
The Administration Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining MSS' contractor management system ensuring that contractors are aware of their compliance requirements and accurate compliance evidence and data is stored on file.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
* Administer MSS' contractor management system
* Complete administrator tasks in our risk management software
* Triage, allocate, and update feedback in our feedback system and from external sources
* Develop agendas for meetings and committees, and document comprehensive and professional minutes
* Develop complex reports
* Assist with administration tasks related to projects and systems
* Reformat official MSS documents and document procedures related to the role
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner
* Complete other administrative duties as required and provide support to assist the Senior Manager and Quality, Compliance and Risk team
Selection Criteria
Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
* Qualifications in administration or similar.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
* Exceptional administrative skills, including the proficient use of Microsoft Office programs and willingness and ability to use other databases and new systems.
* Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise and get things done.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain and create complex spreadsheets and to develop professional reports using available data.
* Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with external stakeholders.
* A strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality principles.
* Current NSW driver's licence
* Reliable motor vehicle (including valid NSW registration and minimum third-party property damage insurance)
