Your Role
As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, uphold exceptional service standards, and ensure every guest experience reflects the qualia brand. You will take a hands-on leadership approach, supporting your team while maintaining flawless execution across service periods.
Where you'll make an impact
* Lead, train, and motivate the Food & Beverage team to deliver luxury service standards
* Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and service flow
* Deliver personalised, professional guest service in a fast-paced, premium environment
* Assist with staff rostering, cost control, and inventory management
* Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
* Maintain excellence in food presentation and beverage service
* Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing team development
* Assist with VIP guest experiences, events, and special activations
* Manage reporting, financial transactions, and day-to-day administrative tasks
What we're looking for
You are a confident and capable hospitality leader with a passion for fine dining and premium service. You thrive in high-expectation environments, lead by example, and are driven to consistently exceed guest expectations.
To be successful, you will need:
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within luxury hospitality
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (Essential)
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Essential)
* Valid Driver's Licence (Essential)
* Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including weekends and evenings
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence
