Wangkumarra Kawalanyi Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (WKAC)All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are recruiting now.About the RoleWangkumarra Kawalanyi Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (WKAC) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership, governance oversight, and operational direction for the organisation.Working closely with the Board of Directors and Traditional Owners, the CEO will play a key role in ensuring WKAC operates transparently, ethically, and effectively, while protecting and advancing Wangkumarra native title rights and interests.This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the long-term strength, governance, and future of the Corporation and its people.Salary and Benefits$175,000 per annum (inclusive of superannuation), negotiableFully maintained company vehicle providedHybrid arrangement with regular travel, transitioning to a base on Country once WKAC offices are establishedKey ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and direction in line with the Corporation's purpose and prioritiesEnsure strong governance, compliance, and accountability frameworks are in place and maintainedOversee native title management and related activitiesLead financial management and organisational performanceSupport organisational development and capability buildingEngage effectively with Traditional Owners, the Board, and key stakeholdersRepresent WKAC in negotiations and external engagementsAbout YouDemonstrated leadership experience within Aboriginal organisations, community organisations, or governance environmentsStrong understanding of Native Title, Indigenous governance, or land management frameworksProven experience working respectfully with Traditional Owners and Aboriginal communitiesSound financial management and business acumenExperience leading and managing organisations or teamsStrong negotiation and stakeholder engagement capabilityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEligibilityThis is an Indigenous Identified position.
