About the role:
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join our Victoria team.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll be a trusted part of the estimating function, working closely with a tight-knit team on a mix of commercial projects. Based out of our Richmond office, this role suits someone who enjoys owning tenders end-to-end, building strong client relationships, and setting projects up for success from day one.
Responsibilities will include…
* Attend site inspections
* Reviewing drawings, specs, and documentation with a commercial lens
* Preparing accurate and competitive tenders and bids
* Taking part in client discussions, negotiations, and tender reviews
* Building project budgets and high-level programs
* Running clear and practical handovers to the project delivery team
* Working closely with PMs and the wider commercial team to make sure bids are realistic and deliverable

What you need:
* Experience working as an electrical estimator is essential
* Electrical and / or communications trade qualifications will be advantageous
* Strong communications and interpersonal skills are essential
* Experience and understanding of electronic communication skills, Microsoft office etc
* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
* Experience in SimPRO, ground plan & bluebeam will be an advantage
* Understanding of structured cabling systems / ICT infrastructure will be an advantage
* Understanding of lighting control systems will be an advantage.
