Are you a mechanical engineering expert looking for a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer - Mechanical to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to Safety in Design (SiD) reviews and workshops, including CHAIR, HAZOP, CHAZOP, and other sessions as required
* Oversee subcontractors delivering project work and coordinate functions such as technical support during construction, quality, contracts, claims, variations, audits, etc.
* Provide technical input into procurement, including support during execution and management of the procurement process to delivery
* Ensure project practical completion documentation and deliverables are completed
* Manage quality Lots, and ITP's/ITC's during construction and commissioning stages
This is a fantastic chance to work on various projects, from water treatment plants to waste water infrastructure. You'll be responsible for managing subcontractors, providing technical input into procurement, and overseeing project practical completion documentation and deliverables.
As a Project Engineer - Mechanical, we're looking for someone with a degree-level qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or directly related) and sound experience in a project engineering role, including design knowledge to influence outcomes and ensure compliance with client specifications and Australian standards.
