About the Role
The role of Apprentice and Training Coordinator is to source, coordinate, and implement training plans that ensure required competency-based training and approved employee development training are delivered efficiently and effectively, aligning with industry standards.
As the Apprentice & Training Coordinator, you will provide a link between industry standards and external training providers to support Managers, employees, trainees, and apprentices in meeting industry competency-based requirements. You will also identify opportunities for employee development.

You will carry out specific related functions under legislation and regulations respecting designated trades and corresponding apprenticeship programs. This includes giving advice and support to Managers and Supervisors, apprentices and trainees to increase training participation and completion conversions. You will manage and track completion rates, apprentice level, and wage increases, along with associated claims including wage incentives and completion payment processes for trainees and apprentices.
The Apprentice and Training Coordinator will collaborate with company business unit managers and Human Resources to ensure employees are trained and have the required competency to perform duties to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
* PREFERRED QUALIFICATION IN EDUCATION, TRAINING OR RELATED FIELD.
* PROVEN WORK EXPERIENCE AS A TRAINING OR APPRENTICE COORDINATOR, TRAINING FACILITATOR OR SIMILAR ROLE.
* HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE COORDINATING MULTIPLE EVENTS.
* EXPERIENCE IN IMPLEMENTING CHANGE.
* ADEQUATE KNOWLEDGE OF LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS / DATA BASES.
* ADVANCED ORGANIZATION SKILLS WITH ABILITY TO HANDLE MULTIPLE ASSIGNMENTS.
* STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
* PROVEN WORK EXPERIENCE WITH E-LEARNING PLATFORMS.
* ABILITY TO COMPLETE FULL TRAINING CYCLE.
