We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to lead our Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and management to the department, planning and delivering high-quality services for optimal patient outcomes.
* Develop and implement training programs for clinicians across multiple disciplines to enhance quality education and safe clinical practice.
* Participate in an on-call roster and respond promptly to clinical needs.
Required Qualifications
* Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, or international medical graduate pathways.
* Recent clinical experience as a Senior Medical Officer Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
* Leadership and management experience with the ability to develop and work with multidisciplinary teams.
* Effective communication skills through written, verbal, and interpersonal interactions.
* Commitment to teaching, continuing education, research, and quality improvement.

Workplace
Grafton Base Hospital is a level 3/4 facility serving over 13,000 inpatients annually. It is part of a larger healthcare network working closely with other hospitals in Northern NSW and Southern Queensland.
