Marine Supply Chain Manager
We are seeking a Marine Supply Chain Manager to lead our supply chain operations. The role involves developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize supply chain performance, improve cost-effectiveness, and support business growth.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of marine procurement, supply chain operations, and logistics compliance. They will also have excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage supply chains for crewing and seafarer services to domestic and international ship management companies.
* Analyze supply and distribution data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
* Coordinate receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished products.
* Negotiate freight and supplier contracts to ensure cost-effective and reliable delivery schedules.
* Implement and maintain accurate inventory tracking systems.
* Prepare logistics and supply reports to support management decisions.
* Supervise warehouse and logistics staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Liaise with distributors, ship agents, and customers to confirm orders, resolve delays, and manage returns or warranty claims.
* Oversee customs, quarantine, and shipping documentation for both domestic and export shipments.
* Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, transport partners, and distributors to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
* Post-graduate qualification in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent maritime qualification (e.g. Master Mariner).
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a ship management or marine logistics company.
* Strong understanding of marine procurement, supply chain operations, and logistics compliance.
* Proven ability in manpower and resource management.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000 – $95,000 per year
