About Our Care Team
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our care team in providing exceptional care services to our Residents.
This casual role involves working closely with our Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to deliver personalized therapy programs, recreational activities, and outings. You will also be responsible for organizing and planning therapy programs, documenting resident progress, and maintaining accurate records.
About the Role
* Deliver high-quality therapy programs under the direction of our qualified therapists;
* Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans;
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress;
* Participate in the organization and planning of therapy programs and outings;
* Provide support to residents with mobility and exercise programs, recreational activities, and other therapeutic interventions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or higher/equivalent qualification;
* Experience in a similar role, preferably as an Occupational Therapist Assistant or Physiotherapist Assistant;
* Strong organizational and time management skills;
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff;
* Demonstrated ability to lead and coach staff to deliver quality care services;
* Sound written and verbal communication skills;
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
* Empathy with the elderly and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

We operate a secure and friendly living environment that supports our Residents' every need and enables choices in daily living activities. Our facility is located in the heart of Redcliffe and caters for up to 79 Residents.
