The opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a large $100m project.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Work collaboratively with the Client and Project Team to achieve project outcomes
* Mentor, coach and supervise Commercial Team
* Lead the project procurement strategy & procurement processes
* Lead project Cost Management inclusive of both Head & Subcontract Variation management
* Manage Head Contract and Subcontractor Progress claim/s
* Manage cash flow at both Head & Subcontract
* Preparation and presentation of Monthly Financial reports
About you
* Degree qualified in Construction Management (or similar)
* Substantial experience working in a similar project-based contract and financial administration on other major building developments ideally within the Canberra market
* Previous capacity of an administrative / commercial role in a mid-tier Main Contractor or Sub-Contractor environment
* Strong administrative experience on a diverse range of projects
* Expertise in procurement and contract management
* Experience in CHEOPS, Aconex and similar web-based portals is desirable
