Your new company
Hays has partnered with a reputable Gold Coast commercial building and maintenance company to find an experienced Estimator to lead and support the contracts, quotes and tenders department. Your role will be key in delivering accurate cost estimates and preparing budgets for both internal and external feasibility analyses. This is an office-based role, supported by a collaborative and engaging work environment.
Your new role
Completing all estimating requirements, you will serve as a central point of consultation, ensuring seamless information exchange amongst Project Managers, client representatives, and various functional teams. This involves, but is not limited to:
* Analyse project requirements
* Coordinate with contractors and suppliers
* Ensure that all estimates are completed on time and within budget
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will have at least 5 years' experience as an Estimator in the Commercial Construction, Trades or Maintenance industry. You will also:
* Have excellent attention to detail and commercial acumen
* Be proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant estimating systems (eg: Procore, Cubit/Buildsoft, CostX, Revit)
* Have relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
* Have a Trade background (preferred)
* Hold extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
