Job Summary:
You'll design secure, scalable, and high-performing systems that support our strategic goals. Collaborating across technical and business teams, you'll lead end-to-end architecture initiatives, drive innovation, and optimise system performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Design secure, scalable, and high-performing systems aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
2. Lead solution architecture from concept through to implementation, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
3. Embed security and compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
4. Drive innovation through proof-of-concepts and technology recommendations.
5. Partner with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet client and business needs.
6. Communicate architectural decisions clearly across technical and non-technical teams.
7. Foster trusted relationships with clients, vendors, and auditors.
8. Guide and mentor teams on architecture, performance optimisation, and secure design principles.
9. Encourage continuous learning, collaboration, and inclusive problem-solving.
10. Maintain accurate documentation, architecture guidelines, and technical standards.
11. Lead reviews and assessments to ensure systems remain scalable, maintainable, and high-performing.

Requirements:
1. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Around 10 years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years in architecture roles.
3. Experience designing and building applications using Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, .Net, MVC).
4. Proficient in database development, particularly with MS SQL Server.
5. Familiarity with Databricks, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE).
6. Understanding of infrastructure, distributed systems, and cloud environments.
7. Comfortable designing secure, scalable solutions that perform well in complex environments.
8. Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to CI/CD and automated testing practices.
9. A background in financial services, finance, or accounting is a plus.
10. Collaborative and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
11. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
12. A commitment to inclusive, secure, and compliant practices.
13. Open to new ideas and continuous improvement, both personally and technically.
