Job Description:
This role provides administrative support services to theStudent Support Services teams, aboriginal services staff, clients,and stakeholders, contributing and supporting the achievement ofregion and organisational objectives and goals, and contributes tothe delivery and maintenance of efficient work practices within theteam.
The Administrative Officer is accountable to the office for theprovision of specialised personal and confidential administrativesupport to the Student Support Services Assistant Directors andTeam Manager within the context of a high-quality service deliveryto clients of the region.
The Administrative Officer reports to the Office Manager, andworks as a member of the administrative team, working closely withother local offices, support services staff, central office, andother Department for Education staff. Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department forHuman Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior tobeing employed which is required to be renewed every five yearsbefore expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect -Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course orthe online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to beupdated every three years.
