Job Description
Define and execute X2M\'s Australian water go-to-market strategy.
Build strategic partnerships with utilities, government agencies, and technology partners.
Lead end-to-end tender/RFP processes and close commercial deals.
Develop proposals, deliver presentations, and manage the sales pipeline.
Provide market feedback to product teams and identify opportunities for growth.
Important to note: This is an individual contributor role at this stage. You\'ll be directly responsible for execution without a team around you initially. If you deliver results and the business grows, this role will expand to include team leadership and broader business responsibility.
The Successful Applicant
10+ years in sales/business development; 5+ years in the Australian water sector.
Proven success in large-scale tenders/RFPs and opening recent markets.
Strong networks with utilities, government, and industry stakeholders.
Exposure to IoT, smart metering, or energy management is a plus.
Strategic thinker who can also execute hands-on business development activities.
Entrepreneurial, resilient, hands-on, and results-driven.
